Joe Biden was declared the winner of the Vice Presidential debate, and Obama maintains an eight point lead over john McCain, 50% to 42%

When CNN viewers were asked, “Who did the best job in the debate?”  51% said Joe Biden and 36% said Sarah Palin.

When CNN viewers were asked, “Who was more likable in the debates?” 54% said Palin while only 36% said Biden.

When CNN viewers were asked, “Who was more intelligent in the debate?” 57% of debate watchers said Biden, while 26% said Palin.

When CNN viewers were asked, “Who was more in touch with the problems of people like you in the debate?” 50% said Biden and 44% said Palin.

According to the CNN Opinion Polls, Debate Watchers when asked, “Who more qualified to serve as President?” 87% said Joe is qualified and only 12% said he was not.

When the same question was asked of Palin 46% said she is qualified to be President, while 53% said Sarah Palin is not qualified to be President of the United States.

When viewers were asked, “Did Palin do better or worse than you expected?” a whopping 84% said better and only 7% said worse.

Overall, I think Joe Biden, the real working class Joe, won the debate and the new Gallup Polls suggest the country feels the same.

According to the Gallup, Obama maintains a huge 8 point lead, 50% to McCain’s 42%.

I expect to see more movement in the polling after Tuesday’s President Debate; the main focus of Round 2 will be to see which face john McCain brings to the podium.

All eyes are now on McCain and the referendum on his temperament has begun.

I'm curious to see how

I'm curious to see how McCain will react when really irked. He personally strikes me as having a volcanic temper and somewhat unstable.
