Did you hear John McCain stopped campaigning in Michigan?
How can John McCain say he will stay in Iraq but doesn't have the patience to see it plays out in Michigan?
According to Chuck Todd, MSNBC Political Director, Obama is leading the Electoral College 264 to McCain’s 174, 270 being the winning number.
The swing states that are still too close to call are Nevada, Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. Chuck Todd said, Obama is one state way, and if it’s Nevada it will send the race to the House of Representatives.
Todd went on to say during today’s Meet the Press, that if the election were held today, which early voting has begun in many states, that Obama’s high watermark would be 364 to McCain’s 174. “That’s the danger McCain Campaign has, they now have to hold everything before they can think about stealing any Obama states back.”
The Gallup Polling is remaining stable, Obama 50% to McCain’s 43%. The Yahoo! Political Dashboard shows Obama projected to win the Election, Obama 330 to McCain’s 175.
In other news, I signed up to go help citizens of Indiana vote early for the Presidential Election. Indiana is one of a few states that have created Voting Laws to allow people to vote early. So I will be taking the train out to Michigan City, Indiana in a few days to make phone calls and ask Obama supporters to vote early.
