In a recent conversation with a visiting lecturer from Tel Aviv, I asked for her perspective on the accuracy of Israel-Palestine relations as presented in the U.S. She in turn, asked me who I was going to vote for president come November 4. Wow, a non-U.S.

It's amazing how many awesome and awesomely offensive political ads have been surfacing over the last week as McCain's negative attack ads, ones that have failed to give him the edge he needs over Obama, who polls show has runaway approval ratings across the board. So, the GOP has begun to resort to even less savory tactics.

I was speaking to a friend the other day about a particularly heated moment in a presentation. During her presentation, a white peer I'll call Nancy spoke about the "limited cognitive abilities" of lower-income populations as a basis for excluding populations from her sample group in Los Angeles.
