Stand up for local media

2007 Fellow Namrata Kolachalam wrote an op-ed piece for the Oberlin Review discussing changes in the media landscape and efforts by corporations to stifle the democratization of media through hostile gestures. She asked people to voice their support of House Bill 2802, which would restore low-power FM stations, which had been successfully outlawed by mass media lobbying.
