The gentrification of the Mission District brought a "gang list" that affected young people in a 60-block radius, limiting their freedom of movement and association. Vicente Garcia used his 2007 Young People For fellowship to organize the community to stop the gang list.
The Intergenerational Network
The Intergenerational Network is a network of progressive organizations, individuals, and former YP4 fellows committed to cultivating and supporting young leaders and creating sustainable change in communities across the country.
As a member, you will have access to the complete set of opportunities offered through Young People For and our partner organizations, including:
